BT Features
294 PowerScan® PBT7100 Cordless
BT Security Mode
This feature enables/disables authentication and encryption of the BT link. Use the fea-
ture, BT Pin Code on page 291, to specify the pin code used to authenticate the BT
Link.
NOTE
Changing the security mode setting will unlink the devices. The setting must
also be changed on the Base Station using Aladdin, then the Base Station
and reader must be relinked.
